The new wines are starting to bang on the cellar door demanding release. And Todd Stevens’ subtle fingerprint is all over this Neudorf Tom’s Block Pinot Noir 2014. It has ripe fruit, well contained with elegant oak – structured but not austere.
Australian Critic Huon Hooke is not known for tossing out compliments like confetti.
He says “Deepish red colour with a good purple tinge. The aroma is loaded with dark cherry, deep and spicy from a positive oak input. The palate is full and well structured with a good tannin presences and balance. A serious Pinot of good weight and harmony. 91/100 ”
