- Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2012 ‘Spine tingling steely savvy with less pungent aromatics than the norm. It is in lemongrass and lemon juice spectrum. It’s intense in the mouth and refined in the mouth and the tangy fruit lingers. Great with seafood. 93/100"

- Neudorf Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2012 . “I served this wine to a bunch of chardonnay lovers over takeaway Thai food and a unanimous "Yum!" erupted. With aromas of elderflower, citrus blossom and fresh fennel, followed by juicy lime, herbaceous hints and interesting texture and richness in the mouth and on the finish - it was a winner with pretty much everything on the table - it even lifted the spring rolls to new heights. Delicious! 5 Stars“

- Neudorf Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Looking for a Sauvignon Blanc ‘with texture, that is complex and satisfying’, Partly (15-20 per cent) fermented in old oak barriques, it is a full-bodied, dry style (3 grams/litre of residual sugar), with strong, ripe, passionfruit-like flavours to the fore. Very fresh, lively and tangy, it has a touch of complexity and an appetisingly crisp finish. Four Stars.

- Neudorf Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2012
This has an elegant and stylishly proportioned nose with restrained aromas of gooseberries and stonefruits revealing mineral, white floral and citrus detail in the glass. Dry to taste, this is very fine-featured with intense flavours of gooseberries, stonefruits, citrus and limes. The fruit notes are nuanced and interwoven, forming a good core with presence, and have a deliciously subtle richness which is enhanced by bright, lively acidity. The palate has excellent tension and a refined mouthfeel that flows to a lingering, softly dry finish. This is a beautifully refined and detailed Sauvignon Blanc with a stylish array of flavours. Match with seafood and poultry over the next 2-3 years. 18.5-/20, Five Stars

- Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2011. “Unmistakeable varietal aroma; a pure varietal, fragrant and clean, with no overt oak although 5-6% was wood-aged. Soft, delicate and dry, with texture aided and abetted by barrel age. A trace of passionfruit, but restrained. Dry, but not tart, with nice balance. 90/100"

- “Nelson may be close to Marlborough but the Sauvignon Blanc is of quite a different nature. Neudorf is making an unusually rich Sauvignon Blanc with length and complexity.“

- “Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2010. Soft, full and voluminous nose of ripe capsicums, nectarines and herbs, along with nuances of minerals, smoke and flint. Dry to taste, this is fulsome and rich, packed with flavours of ripe stonefruits, nectarines and herbs, providing plenty of weight. The acidity is slippery, but soft, adding a sweetness and lusciousness to the fruit expression.18+/20 ”

- Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2010. “Closer to the Loire Valley than Marlborough/Nelson in style. Nose is delicate and refined showing grapefruit, capsicum and a touch of chalky/mineral characters. Concentrated and finely textured on the palate with a beautifully weighted mid palate and seamless mouthfeel leading to a long crisp finish. A superbly harmonised Sauvignon full of character.” 91/100

- “A little hot on the nose with just a smidgen of hair oil. Big and bold and confident. More fruit bottom than a typical Marlborough example. Something to get your teeth into. Real substance though."

- "Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2009 - Delicately aromatic Sauvignon Blanc in a restrained bone-dry style. Wild herbs, capsicum and mineral flavours. Racy acidity makes this a particularly good food wine. Classy rather than showy Sauvignon. 4 stars."

- ”Restrained but distinctive citrus-styled Sauvignon with an attractive hint of mineral-like reductiveness and a sensual floral note. Really complex if you linger and don’t rush. Rich on the palate, intense and long. Delicious.”

- Neudorf Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2005 "...highly atmospheric, unashamedly pungent and proud of its sexy, fresh sweat and wild herb aromatics. The unctuous texture conceals structure wicked as a sheathed stiletto. About as good as Sauvignon gets."
